Based on a seinen manga by Kusunoki Michiharu serialised in Young Magazine.
The story gets its roots from the actual street racing that occurs on Tokyo's Shuto Expressway, one stretch of which is known as the "Wangan", literally meaning "bay side" (although it is generally used to refer to the freeway), the longest, straightest road in the entire country. Of course, there's also lots of traffic to contend with, including a fair number of heavy trucks. Because of this, the action is inherently hazardous, and wrecks are common. I agree, pretty awesome. But is the Animesuki eps 19-26 torrent a fake? There's one seeder, and 615 leechers, but out of the 615 the 95 I'm connected with have received no parts over about 8 hours. It seems fake--if it isn't, could you seed?

I was just looking through old wangan midnight and initial d forums and found this,I didn’t knew people back then used to watch anime like this,nowadays all you gotta do is find a anime streaming site and start watching any of your fav anime.Well I don’t think I will come here again and I might even forget about this,and I think no one will be reading this I might be the only one who came here after decade since all the comments are from 2009
